Victoria will commence her new role in Term 1, 2022.
“Victoria brings a wealth of experience and background both in teaching and coordinating early childhood education and care programs, as well as from her current role as Educational Leader here at IGS Early Learning,” Head of School Early Learning Sarah Herbert said.
“Victoria’s collective experiences will continue to assist us to maximise and strengthen our high quality offering to the children and families of IGS, as well as provide ongoing support to our team.”
Victoria said she is excited to continue to be part of the vibrant and diverse IGS community.
“I am passionate about the importance of the early years and inclusive strengths based practices. I look forward to my role extending how our youngest learners are involved in rich and meaningful experiences with music and languages deeply embedded into our daily lives,” she said.
“I am honoured to continue the ‘Language for Belonging’ project and strengthen our relationships with our Indigenous culture, a culture rich in knowledge, experience and spirituality that has been developed and passed down through countless generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.”
