Principal Shauna Colnan gifted each student an IGS teddy bear, and read them a poem.
“Can we keep our teddies forever?” one student said.
Some of the children named their bears Rose, Fluffy, Sparkles and Cutie.
The children also enjoyed cupcakes and a healthy fruit salad.
Shauna asked Kindergarten Gold what they loved most about Kindy.
“Drawing, free play, news, everything, making new friends and phonics,” said the students.
“The things the children came up with made my heart sing and I’m going to miss them,” Kindergarten Gold Teacher Sarah Elwasfi said.
“We have 10 days left and we’re going to have an amazing 10 days. My door is always open,” she said at the picnic.
