Anastasia has been practicing Tae Kwon Do for almost seven years and last week passed her grading.
Her father Joshua said the grading involves a very physical couple of hours.
“She went through all the kicks, patterns and broke boards,” he said.
“She was also required to write a piece on overcoming obstacles and goal setting. Ana has held a black belt for a couple of years now and is very committed. She never misses a class.
“In addition, she is going through her martial arts school’s leadership development program and trains younger children on Saturday mornings.
“This grading is testament to Ana’s perseverance, focus and discipline and we are, naturally, very impressed.”
IGS congratulates Anastasia on this huge achievement.
