Students support Black Lives Matter movement

Students came dressed in the colours of yellow, red and black on Friday 13 November, to show their support for wiping out racism.

Primary Digital Innovator and Year 5 Gold Homeroom Teacher David Smith congratulated his student Amelia who wrote to IGS Principal Shauna Colnan in Term 3 and requested a mufti day to raise awareness of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Ms Colnan loved the idea and students were invited to show their support on the final day of NAIDOC Week.
