Staff thanks, farewells and congratulations

IGS offers thanks and congratulations.

The IGS community continues to change as staff take long service leave, move on from temporary roles, further their careers and retire.

We thank them for their significant contribution to the School and wish them every happiness, both personally and professionally, as they take on new opportunities.

Director of Studies Jacqui Baker leaves IGS after 17 years of dedicated service to accept a leadership position as Director of Learning and Teaching at Al Sadiq College in 2021.

Student Assistant in the Primary School Robin Nix retires after 15 years at IGS working with our primary school teachers in supporting our students in the classroom.

Teacher of Mathematics Jessica Toohey leaves IGS to return to her home in Cairns.

Philosophy in Residence Dr Britta Jenson has accepted a full time appointment at Newington College from the 2021 school year.

Head of House and Music Teacher Katie Salisbury is relocating to Tasmania.
