Resident Volleyball guru Ms Caitlin Cockburn accompanied the students to Manly Beach and coached them on the day.
Students competed against various other schools with great aspiration and teamwork. Congratulations to Myles and Wynton Lambert of Year 10 who made it into the semi final round.
In further volleyball news, Ms Cockburn won a bronze medal in the division two women’s comp at the Australian Beach Volleyball Tour AUS Championships, also at Manly Beach.
Ms Cockburn’s skills and experience have been invaluable in progressing our students’ abilities in volleyball.
To the cycling track, Ruben Shepard of Year won silver medals at the Victoria State Junior Track Championships, in the under 11 years events of “Individual Pursuit”, “Flying 200” and “Scratch Race”. Well done, Ruben!
