Activities from around the world

Early Learning children have enjoyed various activities in their language group lessons this week.

Cultural celebrations included celebrating the upcoming Japanese Tanabata (star) Festival.

“The children write their wishes upon a star and hope they might come true,” said Head of Languages Junior School Vilma Rotillini.

“Our French Transition children enjoyed ‘le petit-dejeuner’ of a typical French breakfast eating croissants with jam while interacting with each other; and the Italian and Chinese group enjoyed playing food bingo games.

“The Preschool children participated in fun and engaging activities relating to the Body and Clothing topic which included choosing and naming clothing for a dressing up game and hanging clothes on a washing line while matching clothing to the different seasons.”
