Students presented how they celebrate their family holidays using their Italian language skills.
One Italian student, Aleyna Demir, took the chance to educate her peers on her family holiday, Ramadan.
Through her presentation, Aleyna educated her peers on her own personal cultural practices, through another language.
Eid al-Fitr, also called Eid or the “Festival of Breaking the Fast” is celebrated by Muslims to mark the end of their month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. This year, the festival ran from 12 to 13 May.
We are very proud of our students for demonstrating the IGS motto of Unity Through Diversity in their work.
