Students from Years 5 to 8 have been sharing music with regional NSW communities, rallying support for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.
So far with IGS assistance, our students have raised almost $2,000 for the Service.
The tour group have been supported by the School’s dedicated Music staff, entertaining audiences at Royal Flying Doctor’s base in Dubbo, Bourke Public School, Lightning Ridge Central School and more!
Aside from sharing their musical talent, the group have enjoyed activities such as sailing on The Darling River, meeting animals at Taronga Western Plains Zoo, and visiting the Golden Guitar in Tamworth.
We are grateful that the tour has deepened the School’s connections with regional communities, and thank everyone involved.
