Savouring knowledge of French food and culture

Year 4 French students have enjoyed creating recipe books and sampling their efforts.

Each student created three recipes for their collaboratively created books, said French teacher Helene Schmit.

Each child chose to make one of the recipes at home, and present it in class.

 

Parents and caregivers were invited to taste the food after students gave presentations.

The lesson gave students experience with food, IT and teamwork.
