These environmentally friendly events provide the chance for students, parents and caregivers to pick up bargain IGS uniform items, textbooks and more.
PTF Representative Karen Roberts said the recent sale “beat our previous record by 17.8 per cent.”
“Over $3,870 was collected, which, at an average of $5 per item, equates to around 770 items saved from landfill and recycled back into the community,” she said.
Karen thanked all members of the community “who donated goods and especially the hard-working volunteers who give up their time to sort, label, haul and carry all that stuff for each sale”.
