Regional Shakespeare Festival on the IGS stage

IGS recently hosted 11 schools from as far as Lithgow for the Regional Shakespeare Festival in the School Hall.

“IGS performed beautifully and I know that the judges from Sport for Jove struggled to separate the top winners in each category,” said IGS Director of Dramatic Arts Rita Morabito.

“IGS ran second in a number of categories, entertaining us with their physical prowess, creative interpretations, comic delivery and skill.”

Well done to all of our IGS performers!

The Shakespeare Carnival is run by Sydney-based theatre company Sport for Jove and encourages students to creatively engage with Shakespeare’s works on the stage as actors, dancers, musicians and designers.
