Ava of Year 5 recently created an online review of Anne of Avonlea by L. M. Montgomery, sharing her thoughts via video.
Year 5 were asked to review their favourite book recently, selecting a book they would recommend to their classmates.
“The options for presenting their review included video or written submissions,” said Year 5 Teacher Jessica Slater.
“Ava, from 5 Blue, recorded hers and submitted this video.
“Lots of the students in Year 5 have commented that they had more time to read while they were at home as they could read in their break times.”
The lesson improved reading and presentation skills.
