The event was co-developed by the professional body for mathematics teachers, The Mathematical Association of NSW and Sydney-based educational enterprise, Inquisitive Minds.
During the activity, students participated in an interactive lesson on strategic methods and worked on a series of original hands-on problems.
Finally, students were given the chance to consolidate their learning with a take-home collection of Australian Mathematics Competition questions.
