Primary Assembly delights the crowd

There was standing room only at the ID2019 Primary School Assembly

In bright and beautiful costumes reflecting diverse cultures, children of all ages and year groups performed, singing songs in Chinese, French, German, Italian and Japanese.

Year 5 impressed the large audience with their extraordinarily carefully coordinated collaborative body percussion routines from Indonesia, led by Suara Indonesia Dance.

They were accompanied by Indonesian percussion instruments, including their own drums, created by stretching the fabric of special trousers and pounding on the taut surface with their hands, in unison.

Congratulations to all staff and students on presenting such an enjoyable display of Unity Through Diversity.
