Nye Morrison to follow in steps of inspiring teachers

IGS Year 12 student Nye Morrison would like to share his passion for Drama with audiences and with students.

With a strong ATAR, Nye is looking forward to studying a double degree in Teaching and Arts at UNSW and will apply at NIDA the following year.

“I quite like working with children, I enjoy teaching and I love Drama,” Nye said.

Nye thanked the teachers at IGS who he said were excellent and helped him to do really well.

“I was doing subjects that I quite enjoyed, and I had a lot of support as well from teachers and family members who kept pushing me to do me best,” he said.

When asked what advice he would give to future Year 12 students, Nye said, “Make sure you have a good support group and ensure you’re still socialising with people and going about your life. Don’t put too much pressure on the HSC.”
