No shortage of creativity at IGS

IGS students Luka and Nikita recently started up a small business called Jampicks, where they make and sell handmade guitar picks made entirely of materials they find at home, on the beach or in the bush.

“We mostly recycle household plastics, old metal, and driftwood,” the boys said on their website.

“We started this to learn about business and at the same time make an impact. We use the proceeds from our guitar picks business to help our oceans.”

The brothers selected two organisations to support, The Ocean Cleanup and Coral Gardeners.

The entrepreneurs started their business just two weeks ago.

The siblings wrote the content for their website, calculated prices and took the promotional photos too.

They managed to already produce more than 50 guitar picks. All picks are made from plastic items they found in their house!
