‘My 2037’ through the camera lens

IGS students are invited to take part in The Glebe Society’s 50th anniversary photography competition, with the brief: “My 2037 (Glebe and Forest Lodge)”.

There will be a category for Primary students, and another for High School students, and all participants are encouraged to interpret this brief in whatever way is important to them.

Schools have been asked to select their best photos of Glebe or Forest Lodge (which both have the post code 2037), taken on either a phone or a tablet, by the end of Term 1.

Local professional photographer, Tom Psomotragos, has agreed to judge the competition, with a first prize in both categories of $150. The photos will be on display for the full week of activities.

Students who wish to enter the competition can email their best photo or two to IGS Director of Advancement Julia Glass.

The Glebe Society’s week-long celebrations will commence on 23 June at Tramsheds, Harold Park. View their website and social channels for more details.
