Learning ‘home’ vocabulary while at home!

"Kindergarten Languages students are making the most of their remote learning experiences," says Assistant Head of Junior School Languages Annamaria Ferragina.

“During their first and second week of learning in Term 3, students constructed Lego houses for language lessons,” Annamaria said.

“Language teachers guided the students to describe their Lego houses in their second languages.

“While learning about the topic, The Home, students engaged in a number of activities via Zoom and Seesaw. Interactive games, stories, songs and craft gave the students a variety of experiences to practice their language skills. Young students can use their second language in many ways at home, through play and interactions with their family.”

Annamaria congratulated students and said the potential for creativity during remote learning is endless.
