Inspiring curiosity and interest in Music

Early Learning children were treated to a special visit and performance by the Year 5 IGS String Quartet.

Year 5 students Ray, Christian and James enjoyed performing to Early Learning.

They recalled watching Primary Music students perform when they were in Early Learning at IGS themselves.

IGS Head of Early Learning Sarah Herbert thanked the students for inspiring the children in Early Learning.

“It was special for them to perform to our audience and we anticipate this experience may inspire the curiosity and interest of our Early Learners to learn an instrument in future,” Sarah said.

“What a joy it was to have students from Year 5 join us to perform in their string quartet! Our Early Learners appeared to enjoy the experience immensely, demonstrated by their huge round of applause as each item was performed.”
