IGS students feature in CSIRO video

IGS senior students spent part of their holidays as "actors" for a promotional video for the CSIRO, promoting digital careers.

The students donated their time to become involved in the Digital Careers Australia project.

CSIRO Digital Careers program is a national program that is increasing the awareness, interest and participation of students in computational thinking, digital technologies and career education.

IGS student Perri said she loved the behind the scenes set experience.

“I learned a lot about how film sets worked, and the crew were super nice,” Perri said. “They taught us about how their process worked, and let us watch them through the whole filming.

“I was already considering a digital career, but I learned a lot more about the options for the future for this category, and I am definitely more passionate about getting immersed in the digital experience before I can get an actual job.”

We look forward to sharing the final video with the community in due course!
