IGS Primary languages students entertain and impress

IGS Primary students studying French, German and Japanese delighted their recent assembly audience.

After a refresher course from students on key greetings in multiple languages, the Year 4 students of French shared detailed instructions on how to make mayonnaise.

Year 3 students of German followed with scenes from a busy doctors’ surgery, their patients explaining and being treated for a range of illnesses and accidents.

Year 5 German and Japanese students then took to the stage with their inventive, sophisticated and cleverly acted exploration of cultural difference and experiences through the eyes of exchange students to both countries.

Their conclusion?

‘Japan is wonderful; Germany is wonderful; and friendship is the best!’

Congratulations to every performer and IGS language teacher!
