IGS Graduate Beau Di Orazio reflects on HSC success

Recent IGS Graduate Beau Di Orazio has been recognised on the Honour Roll of Distinguished Achievers by Course.

Beau studied English Advanced, Mathematics Standard, Economics, Legal Studies and Drama at IGS.

He said Mathematics was his favourite subject, where he received a mark of 91 in the HSC.

When asked what his secret to success was, Beau credits his own hard work but also the help of his teachers.

“It was a combination of good teachers and a good class environment,” Beau said.

Beau started at IGS in preschool but left shortly after to spend ten years in Singapore, before returning to IGS in Year 11.

“Walking back in on my first day, seeing all the faces and remembering the ones from preschool has to be a highlight for me,” Beau said. “Coming back to IGS was a no brainer when I came back to Sydney.”

Beau is interested in studying for a Bachelor of Business degree at UTS and has received early entry into Macquarie University to study Commerce.
