‘I Piccoli Chef Italiani’ at IGS

As part of a unit on cultural aspects of the cuisine of Italy, IGS Year 4 Italian students and some parent volunteers enjoyed a day of cooking, eating and singing recently.

Head of Languages Junior School Vilma said “we were so grateful to have parents to help on the day. We prepared, we sang and we ate.”

Students said:

“It was fun, I have never cooked before.”

“Learning how to cook Italian food and how to follow a recipe in Italian was great.”

“I am going to cook these recipes with my family.”

“I ask my mum to buy Italian products all the time now.”
