Humpty Dumpty ‘crime scene’ challenge

Kindergarten students were treated to a new and different creative activity recently, piquing their curiosity and powers of observation.

Caution tape lined the doorways and students were told they had a very important job to solve a mystery, before singing the Humpty Dumpty song together.

The children worked with partners to solve the mystery, and with a pencil and a booklet, they looked for clues.

“If you find a clue at the crime scene you will need to circle it on your booklet and we will come back together as detectives and discuss what we saw and what we thought it could have been,” Kindergarten Teacher Christie Osmond said.

Students were quick to spot the gingerbread crumbs and candy scattered around the crime scene.
