Heartfelt gesture for Year 12 ‘role models’

Year 10 student Oliver Parry recently made a collection of handmade cards for Year 12 students.

Oliver said he wrote the cards to show his gratitude towards the students who have made such a positive impact on his high school journey at IGS.

“Each card includes a tarot card that has a specific meaning to the person who the card is for,” Oliver said.

“It also includes a little illustration on the front. Each illustration has a more personal meaning to it.

“Connor’s card with the ice skates represents the first time I ever spoke to Connor at the ice rink.

“The Year 12 students have been some of the best role models that I have ever met in my life and I’m so excited to see where they end up in the future.”
