“Year 6 Italian beginners have been exploring the topic of Living Things, including concepts related to the basic things that plants need to grow,” said Head of Languages Junior School Vilma Rotellini.
“A fun activity using celery and watercress seeds was used as an experiment for determining how plants get their nutrients and looking at the germination process and factors that affect it.
“The students enjoyed participating in guided investigations using templates to draw and record their observations.”
