“All excursions were cancelled due to COVID restrictions, but fortunately, our regular provider Sydney Olympic Park Authority have been providing Virtual Field Trips,” he said.
IGS student Riu said: “It’s unusual not to be able to visit the ecosystems that we’ve been studying but we’re lucky that we could visit virtually from the Bibliotheque Amphitheatre.”
“It was just like being there,” another student, Jimmy said.
“I love excursions, I’m glad we didn’t let the pandemic stop us from doing this fieldwork,” Sara said.
