Farewell, Tamara

Counsellor Dr Tamara Kezelman departs IGS on Thursday 28 October with our best wishes.

We congratulate her on Tamara on her appointment as School Counsellor at Emanuel School, Randwick.

“Tamara has made a wonderful contribution to our counselling team since her appointment in July 2010,” said Senior Project Officer Mark McCrossin.

“She quickly established herself as a highly effective Psychologist, and as a collaborative colleague dedicated to the holistic care of IGS students. These qualities were very evident during Term 4 last year when Tamara was Acting Director of Counselling Services during Joe Degeling’s term of long service leave.

“Tamara will take with her our very best wishes and warm appreciation for her outstanding service to IGS.”

IGS Director of Counselling Services Joseph Degeling praised Tamara’s approachable nature, professionalism and many contributions.

“The new school, a little closer to her home, will be great for her ongoing experience and professional development, and we wish her all the best,” Joe said.

Please note that parents, carers and students will still be able to email counsellors@igssyd.nsw.edu.au for support from the IGS wellbeing team.
