Diverse activities deepen cultural understanding

IGS primary school students studying Japanese reflect on their recent Language Immersion Day.

IGS Japanese Language students were full of praise for their Japanese Immersion Day.

“I enjoyed ‘Taiko’ Japanese drumming workshop most because I like making stories out of how the drums sounded.”

“I enjoyed the drum activity most because it was fun and interesting!”

“I enjoyed making chopstick holders and playing games. I liked Manga and Anime drawing the most.”

IGS Japanese Teacher Noriko Yamanaka said students particularly enjoyed the chopstick game and Taiko Japanese drumming workshop.
