Lucy shared the students’ recent opportunity to collaborate with Goodooga Central School and Connecting Communities Australia.
“The School’s Walking Together Program, which has been a very exciting initiative, came together after two years of collaboration in partnerships with Yuwaalaraay woman and educator Mindy Gibbs of Goodooga Central School and Glenn Price of Schools Walking Together Program,” Lucy said.
“The fundamental aim of this project is for the kids to have a place-based learning experience through on-Country learning and privileging First Nations voices in doing so.”
