With approximately 60 representatives across the tertiary sector, our students circulated the exhibition space with students from Sydney Grammar as well as Wenona, SCEGGS, St Andrew’s Cathedral School, Newington and The Conservatorium High School.
Along with gathering booklets and giveaways, our students were able to ask questions about courses that interest them as they approach the final stages of their schooling before embarking on the first step of their future careers.
In addition to the exhibition, the Speaker Series component of the event included representatives from universities and industry speaking about a range of topics including studying Law at Bond University and career opportunities in Quantum Computing.
“IGS parent Lara Merrett was among the speakers who shared her career journey as a Visual Artist,” said IGS Careers Advisor Amelia Phillips.
“Lara gave valuable insights including the growing demand for the creative and collaborative skills an artist has to offer and tips for a successful career.”
