Book Week expands curiosity and knowledge

The IGS Bibliothèque held three guessing competitions in celebration of the recent Book Week.

“Book in a jar” involved guessing the identity of a number of worn-out books which had been shredded and placed in jars for later recycling and replacement.

The books included The Cat in the Hat, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

“Curious creatures, wild minds” invited students to guess the characters used to make up the letters of this year’s book week theme display.

“Book Characters” involved an illustration of fictional characters from several books. Students had to guess the character or book from the illustration.
