Beautiful Work from Year 5 French

Year 5 French Continuers have been studying a unit on Japan in Term 3 with Madame Freixas.

In Week 9, students learned how to write a Haiku poem, also known as a tercet.

“It is the shortest form of poetry in the world and is made up of three lines which evoke an emotion related to a season and nature,” Madame Freixas said.

“After revising vocabulary about each of the seasons, students embarked on creating their own. Look at the wonderful results!”
