The day was proposed by relatives of the late Billie Kinder, who died tragically at the age of 12, in whose memory the established the Fly High Billie organisation to help people in distress.
Lola Carr of Year 11: B Kinder Day is about people being sharing a message of kindness with someone to make the world a better place.
Mia Beaumont of Year 6: It’s an amazing charity that teaches children that an act of kindness can change someone’s entire life.
Noah McLean of Year 6: We are raising money to honour an amazing little girl who reminds us all to be kind to each other.
Fly High Billie provided the cards, created from Billie’s artworks. IGS is a secular, coeducational school, Preschool to Year 12, in Ultimo.
