Australian Reading Hour to be celebrated by IGS

IGS will celebrate the Australian Reading Hour next Tuesday 14 September.

Students will be encouraged to read for one hour on Tuesday, whether that be with their class virtually, with their family or at home.

Are you stuck at home with nothing to read?

IGS has a wide range of popular titles available 24/7, via the Bibliothèque homepage, or the links below.

High School audio and ebooks:

Primary School and Early Learning audio and eBooks:

To provide younger children in Early Learning, Kindergarten and Years 1 and 2 with access to these books, we will be sending parents an email with login details, next week.

Your local public library also offers a extensive range of audio and eBooks, as well as eZines, to suit all ages and tastes. Join up online and start downloading immediately.

Last year, our students enjoyed reading some of their favourite books in the Bibliothèque, the Peace Garden and the rooftop. We look forward to seeing the creative ways students celebrate Australian Reading Hour from home this year.
