More than 440 items of secondhand uniforms were “recycled” back into the community. This only happens as a result of generous uniform donations to the PTF by IGS families and the efforts of parent and caregiver volunteers who sort and label the items in preparation for the sale, then set up and pack up on the day.

A huge thank you to PTF Recycled Uniforms Coordinator Karen Roberts, who contributes her energy and time to make this happen.
Also this morning, the PTF donated $224 to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation from the sale of secondhand textbooks and a car boot full of non-perishable food items, toiletries and cleaning products was delivered to the Food Pantry in Marrickville, thanks to PTF Community Service Coordinator Adeline Truong.
Rue Kelly sales take place even when it is raining! The next sale will be in Term 2 on Friday 10 May from 8am to 9am.

Thank you to the IGS community for their generous donations to the Food Pantry! A full boot load! It was fabulous to see kids from Kindy to High School dropping off items and hearing stories of kids spending their money to buy groceries for those in need. We’ll do it all again next term at the Rue Kelly sale on Friday 21 June.
Brilliant warm and fuzzy feelings to kick off the weekend!
