A Science surprise

During Term 3, Kindergarten and Year 1 students enjoyed a special Science surprise!

“The children made magic potions and dressed as their favourite witch, wizard or mad scientist,” Jasmin Flyte said.

They discussed scientific concepts such as experimentation and testing a hypothesis, and explored a range of equipment.

Year 1 engaged in the process of working scientifically to explore different materials, where they investigated and tested predictions and used scientific tools and equipment.

IGS thanks IGS parent Mia Sharma for creating these spectacular science experiments which she framed as ‘magic potions’.

“It created such a fun, and inspiring environment, especially with the dress-up element.”
