A hundred hats in cultural celebration

IGS welcomed families and friends to witness the hundred unique hats of the inaugural Early Learning Cultural Hat Parade.

“With much discussion around Easter and cultural celebrations in Early Learning, we extended an invitation to our Early Learning families and friends to join us in celebrating the end of Term 1 with our Early Learning Cultural Hat Parade,” said Deputy Director of Early Learning Suzanna Gray.

“The theme around our inaugural hat parade was a celebration of our cultural community.

“The children were encouraged to create their own hat which represented a little bit about who they are.

“Of course, our children rose to the challenge and created some wonderful hats which truly represented the diverse cultural backgrounds of our youngest learners.”
