Students are enjoying the various challenges during remote learning.
IGS Head of PDHPE, Sport and Outdoor Education Simon Board said he has been amazed at the participation of IGS students, staff and parents in the 1000 point challenge.
“We have had multiple videos, images, and even documentaries submitted, highlighting the incredible skills, mind and body, fitness and healthy eating activities designed and participated in by our wonderful community. Keep up the great work! All your efforts continue to be such a wonderful inspiration to us all.”
Charlotte in Year 3 enjoyed going for a mindful walk and listened to a kids mindfulness calm compilation while relaxing with some Play-Doh.
Emiliana in Year 6 enjoyed a 45-minute roller-skate, an hour-long walk as well as some skipping.
Anastasia in Year 5 participated in the 2.5km run in 12 minutes, Mr Engelbert’s headstand challenge, the agility challenge as well as a 20-minute mindful walk.
Daisy participated in the Mind, Body and Soul challenge.
