Years 3 and 5 sat the Basic Skills Test. The results were as follows.

In Year 3 literacy (reading, language and writing) the state mean was 51.0. At IGS it was 54.4.
In Year 3 numeracy the state mean was 53.1. At IGS it was 55.9.
In Year 5 literacy the state mean was 57.3. At IGS it was 61.8.
In Year 5 numeracy the state mean was 61.9. At IGS it was 66.3.

Year 3 results included the fact that there were more than 25 literacy questions and more than 15 numeracy questions where IGS’ percent correct was 10 higher than the statewide percent correct.

Year 5 results included the fact that there were more than 37 literacy questions and more than 24 numeracy questions where IGS’ percent correct was 10 higher than the statewide percent correct.
