IGS Campus

The main school building in Kelly Street, Ultimo, is custom-designed, and part of a unique educational precinct, with the University of Sydney, the Sydney Institute of Technology and the University of Technology – Sydney, all within walking distance. The unique customized design provides for a preschool to Year 12 education on a single site, preserving some separation of primary and secondary aspects but keeping an essential integrity. Linkages are made through the common areas of languages, music, art, PE and library resources, which are situated in the centre of the building.

We also use the Wright Building - which houses Upper Primary and a dedicated Drama Space - and the Senior Annexe at 23-35 Mountain Street, a friendly, contemporary environment in a converted warehouse for our senior students.

Facilities

The facilities include three science labs and a prep room, computing room, music technology room, nine music rooms, drama and music performance space, visual arts rooms and outdoor art terraces. There are two libraries, three TAS rooms, language rooms, hall/gym, rooftop garden and rooftop basketball court. We have a specialist computer facility, an information lab and a senior computer centre, all equipped with the latest facilities.
