Open for application: 2019 Indigenous Scholarships

Located on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, IGS has proudly supported the education of young Indigenous Australians since 2003.

Today, many local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people with cultural connections from all over Australia are part of the IGS family.

The IGS mission is to equip our students to be world ready. This also means providing non-Indigenous students with greater understanding, appreciation and respect for Indigenous peoples, cultures, stories, history and contemporary opportunities and challenges.

The scholarships are open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander children who are entering Kindergarten in 2018 and whose family circumstances would otherwise preclude them from attending IGS on a fee-paying basis. The scholarships cover all costs of schooling from Kindergarten to Year 12.
