Journeys abroad

High School students are currently in Japan broadening their knowledge and understanding of language and culture.

Parker Floris and Jake Barbouttis of Year 10 are visiting our sister school, Osaka International Owada High School.

“This is an important trip as Jake and Parker are the first IGS students to travel to this school,” IGS Director of Languages Rosalba Genua-Petrovic said.

“We have so far hosted two groups of students from this school.”

Osaka International Owada High School English Teacher Yukie Tatsumi confirmed the students are “doing well, having fun, and experiencing many new things”.

“They are really good students!” she said.

“Thank you so much for sending the boys to our school.”
